HAPPY BIRTHDAY GOUJUN!!! :D

Perhaps I'm too tired and I'm seriously lack of sleep. I don't know why my eyes swell very badly the whole day today. Even zls and xls noticed, so i guess it's pretty bad. Haha!

This year I spent my valentine's learning a new instrument, suona. Yesterday was our (Laiweng, Ester and me) first lesson with Jin Lao Shi. I think we're really pro cos we can already play 5 bars of Shu Qing Bian Zou Qu within our first lesson! AHHA! KUDOS TO US! Ok lah, we also have to thank Songsim, who gave us a taste of suona before our very first lesson with the suona pro.

Well, Ester's playing gao suo, I'm playing zhong suo while Laiweng's playing ci zhong. Laiweng let me tried her ci zhong and I realised that it requires more 'wind' to blow. HAHA!

During our break, Randy showed us the HCCO contact book. We saw Mrs Ee's contacts under the 1993 cohort's. LOL! Guess what? Ms Wong Hwee Ming was also from HCCO!! Mrs Phee too! OMG WE'RE SO SHOCKED TO SEE MS WONG'S NAME LAH! If she's my chem tutor, I'm so gonna talk to her abt hcco. HAHA!

11 more weeks to SYF. We will mug suona real hard! :D

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! &...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YINKUAN AND YENCHUAN! (oh! their names have alliteration and they rhyme! cool! HAHA!)

Yesterday was the last day of our orientation. The Woodlands Gang was almost late for school cos the bus left w/o us! It was really stupid. We were standing by the side, waiting for the ppl in the queue to board the bus first. There were also a group of people standing before us and we thought they're waiting to board the bus like us. Who knows in the end, there were a few people in the queue who didnt board the bus and that group of people before us werent boarding 961. We witnessed the bus close its door and left w/o us. Kinda stupid eh? Standing there, waiting for our turn to board the bus, yet the bus just left when we havent boarded it. So we went to take train and took 157 at Bukit Batok.

At first we were pretty early, but the jam at Linden Drive (is it?) was so bad that we were almost late. Once the bus door opened, we totally ran into the school. Unfortunately, my legs were too tired to move cos of the orientation activities. It was as though they may break at any point of time. Haha, ok, I shall just admit that im not fit. Yup, so I ran a few steps and walked.... AND WE WERE VERY LUCKY THAT WE WERE NOT LATE! PHEW! I was panting like crazy during the national anthem.

After morning assembly, we had campfire prep. And OG lunch! Had gift exchange and we celebrated Yenchuan's birthday at 'heaven'. LOL! I like heaven cos it's big, empty and high up there. This is also one of the reasons why I love Hwachong cos it has many wonderful places e.g. Heaven and the banner painting area (yes, WE ACTUALLY HAVE A PLACE SPECIALLY FOR PAINTING BANNERS! COOL RIGHT!)

Next was the class item presentation. There's this guy who performed yoyo. He was super impressive! His class's item consisted of the yoyo performance, b-box, hiphop dance and a self-composed song. Their class happened to sit in front of us. After their performance, one of the guys from that class turned back to stretch and he saw Suzie. So he asked a qsn which I find amusing! 'Hey random girl! What do you think of our performance?' LOL! AND SUZIE BECAME A RANDOM GIRL. I personally like the Little Nonya performance! HEHH!

Then we learnt our faculty dance. The beats and moves are super fast!

Then we had CT dinner! Ok, not really CT dinner cos not all were there. Went to Serene Centre to have Macs. Some guys walked there while the girls and another few guys bused there. As we alighted the bus, a woman approached our seniors (who tagged along) to help her carry the big bags of donated items to the nearby church. So we went to help her. Initially, I had a bet with Suzie that the guys who walked will be slightly later than us while she betted vice-versa. When we finally reached Macs, we saw the guys starting to eat alrdy. LOL! They were damn fast. At Macs, I did smth that malu-ed myself. I was sitting next to the toy display shelf. Sitting next to us were 2 young men. One of them was looking at the toy display and saying smth to his fren. Somehow I thought I heard 'Are you guys from Athena?', so I turned and replied,' Ehhh...? We are from Artemis.' -.- It was kinda embarrassing when I realised that he wasnt actually talking to me.

FINALLY IT WAS CAMPFIRE! There were many graduated seniors who returned to join us for the campfire! It felt as though we're really a big family celebrating festivals/events together! They have also made me realised smth: Once a Hwachongian, forever a Hwachongian! HWACHONG! <333 The performance in the hall were all very good! GOOD JOB TO ALL THE FACULTIES!!!!! We were so high that we sweated even though we're in air-con room! When it was Artemis's turn to present the flag, all of us cheered and the class next to us stood up. Suzie and I thought they stood up to cheer, so we also stood up. Then we realised that people in font of us and on our right didn't stand up! The class on our left began to walk up the stage. Only then we realised that they didn't stand up to cheer, but they stood up to get up the stage for presentation. -.- So we quickly sat down before we embarrass ourselves further.

Guess what? ARTEMIS WON THE CT GAMES!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! AH AH ARTEMIS!!!! WHOOOOOOOOO! And Apollo is the ultimate winner cos they were champions for both the class flag and class performance competitions! THREE CHEERS FOR APOLLO, Artemis's best friend (or sister? lol!)! Oh well, at least our flag clinched the second! KUDOS TO ARTEMIS TOO! After the concert at the hall, Artemis was so hyped out that we cheered 'AH AH ARTEMIS' as we marched our way down to central plaza. Guess who I saw on my way? I saw Hongfei! And he was also from ARTEMIS! WHOOOO! I asked him why he carried his erhu here and he said he ponned GE prac for the HC campfire. HAHAHA! Shall ask him for his class one day. Scully he's in my senior class!

Hwachong's campfire is the coolest ever campfire! First up, they lighted a ball of fire which was hung at the top of the building, at Heaven. Then they loosen as it slided down and lighted up the campfire! Followed on, the fac heads lighted the four different faculty flames. So Athena's was green flame, Ares's was red flame, Apollo's was yellow flame and Artemis's was blue flame. Sadly, Artemis's flame couldnt light up. ): As quoted from Eileen (a faccomm member), although our flame didn't light up, the Artemis flame was already lighted in our hearts as we cheered and dance for our fac! WHOOOO! Next, Dominic (01 comm chair lol!) went to light up the 'Rev-It-Up' frame/srtucture?. It had wings. After the entire thing was lighted, the wings actually flapped!!! It was very magnificent!!!

Next was songs! Suzie and I couldnt find our class. Fortunately we saw a few of our classmates who're also lost, so we formed our mini class circle! HAHA! Sang, danced and cheered! We were hyped up to the max! THANKS TO THE PEOPLE WHO ORGANIZED THIS ORIENTATION, esp the teachers, the councillors, faccomm etc.....! I REALLY LOVE THE ORIENTATION!

I LOVE HWACHONG LOADS AND LOADS! <33333

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LAY TIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG~
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!!!

Right, TODAY WE HAD WAR GAMES!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! War game was really fun! Xinyan and I r really good partners (or rather accomplices lol). We helped each other in smuggling 2 water bombs over to Ares's territory! When we smuggled the first one, no one spotted, except for Lydia. But too bad, she's a senior and she's not involved in the game. HAHA! Unfortunately, both missed. For my third time smuggling, Priscilla discovered my bomb n destroyed it. Sad. Although Ares was the ultimate winner, Im sure all of us have enjoyed the game! Once again, ARTMEMIS ROCKS no matter what! <3

Shouldn't have applied face paint on my face. The face paint on my cheeks were so thick that it left tan lines on my face after the game. LOL! Yes, I've tan lines on my face and it's super ugly. Argh.

Oh well, this is something really random. I REEEEAAAAAALLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYY hope things will get better! Sighs... Hahaha....

After school, I went to plaza sing with LAYTING! Our train ride home was very amusing cos we spent a loooooooooong time thinking about what the thing we had to do on the train was. Eventually we realised that it was to check our schedule for tmr. LOLS! -.-

Tmr's ANOTHER brand new day. Hope things will get better! I guess the thing that I look forward to the most is my OG lunch. LOL! Yes, I miss my OG a lot!! OG 36! <333333 Tmr's also the last day of orientation... ))))):

Another random thing that I realised. My OG is 36 while my class is S63. HAHA! SAME NOS. BUT DIFF SEQUENCE! no wonder I always have the tendency to type it wrongly. Hehh!
